Wipro, RiskLens partner for cyber security related services

India Global Business Staff

Indian IT services major Wipro said it has partnered with RiskLens to deliver quantitative cyber risk assessments to enterprise customers and government organisations. Wipro added that new services delivered through this partnership would meet the rising and urgent demand from enterprises for better insights into losses from cyber-attacks.

RiskLens is a Spokane, Washington-based, cyber risk management software company.

As part of the agreement, Wipro would leverage RiskLens' CRQ platform to perform quantitative risk analysis, measure the effectiveness of cybersecurity controls and provide the rationale for adequate cybersecurity investments, said the company in a press release.

RiskLens CRQ platform is an application based on the Factor Analysis of Information Risk (FAIR) model, the international standard for cyber risk quantification.

Wipro's Cybersecurity & Risk Service (CRS) division will offer FAIR methodology-based risk analysis through the RiskLens platform and aid organisations in the development of cyber risk quantification programmes along with its extensive practice in risk intelligence, integrated threat management and security management services, added the company.

The company said it would facilitate training for several members of the Wipro CRS and certify them as FAIR risk analysts through the FAIR Institute.
