US based start-up Clumio is planning to double its workforce in India by the end of 2020.

Clumio launched its research and development centre in Bengaluru to build and deliver SaaS based data protection solutions. The US based start-up, which currently has around 34 employees, is planning to double its workforce in India by the end of this year.

The Bengaluru centre will be an integral part of the company's capability to build and deliver service on its platform built on Amazon Web Services. The firm is hiring to fill roles across Software Engineering, Cloud Operations and Customer Support and Success. The centre will have a mix of experienced engineers and fresh talent.

Sandeep Soni, GM and VP of Engineering, India operations, Clumio, said: “India has a huge talent pool in technology, and it is only growing... Just like the country skipped the evolution of landline-based communication for cell phones, this upcoming ambitious generation of talent is going to skip any kind of on-premises software development.”
